ACEH

     Aceh was previously known by the name of the Special Region of Aceh (1959-2001) and Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (2001-2009) is the westernmost province in Indonesia. Aceh has the autonomy to set its own, unlike most other provinces in Indonesia, for historical reasons. The area is bordered by the Bay of Bengal in the north, the Indian Ocean to the west, the Strait of Malacca in the east, and North Sumatra in southeast and south.
      The capital of Aceh is  Banda Aceh. Its port is Malahayati-Krueng Raya, Ulee Lheue, Sabang, Lhokseumawe and Langsa. Aceh was the region worst hit by the earthquake and tsunami of December 26, 2004. Some places on the coast destroyed. The hardest is Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar, Aceh Jaya, West Aceh, and Simeulue Singkil.
     Aceh has a wealth of natural resources such as oil and natural gas. Natural resources were located in North Aceh and East Aceh. Aceh is also famous for its forest resources, which is located along the Bukit Barisan range, from Kutacane, Aceh Tenggara, Seulawah, Aceh Besar, Ulu Masen up in Aceh Jaya. A national park, namely Gunung Leuser National Park (TNGL) is also located in Southeast Aceh.


TOURISM REGIONS

Masjid Raya Baiturrahman
     Baiturrahman Grand Mosque is a mosque located in downtown Banda Aceh. This mosque was once a mosque of the Sultanate of Aceh.
      When the Dutch attacked the city of Banda Aceh in 1873, this mosque was burned, then in 1875 the Dutch rebuilt a mosque in his stead.
      This single domed mosque and can be completed on December 27, 1883. This mosque was subsequently extended to 3 dome in 1935. Recently expanded again into 5 dome (1959-1968).
This mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in Indonesia who has a sweet shape, carving an attractive, large yard and feels very cool if it was in the room mosque.



Danau Laut Tawar
     Laut Tawar Lake is a lake and tourist area which is located in the Gayo Highlands, Central Aceh District, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Gayo tribe called the Lake of Lut Tawar. The extent of approximately 5472 hectares with a length of 17 km and width of 3.219 km. The volume of water is approximately 2,537,483,884 m³ (2.5 trillion liters).





Danau Aneuk Laot
   Lake Aneuk Laot ("Son of the Sea Lake" in Acehnese) is a lake located in the middle of the town of Sabang, Pulau Weh. This lake is a source of water for the people of Pulau Weh.







Taman Putroe Phang
     This park was built by Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636). Putroe phang is the consort of Sultan Iskandar Muda from Royal Pahang. This park was established by Sultan Iskandar young in the 17th century at the request putroe Pahang. This park was built because very Loving daughter of the Sultan of Pahang, and that the empress is not lonely when on live sultan to run the government.
      Inside the park there phang putroe pintoe khop a door that connects the palace with gardens putroe phang shaped dome, This Pintoe Khop is a place to rest Princess Phang, having tired of swimming, it's not far from Gunongan, there the lady's maid to wash the hair of the empress, There there is also a pool for the empress shampoo and shower flowers.
      Pintoe Khop putroe phang - Built in the reign of Sultan Iskandar Muda, Pintoe Khop a connecting door between the palace with chairah Garden / Park Putroe Phang. The gates to the garden of the family work juice, Emperor, Empress, Prince and Princess.

Aceh Tsunami Museum
     The Aceh Tsunami Museum, located in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, is a museum designed as a symbolic reminder of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami disaster, as well as an educational center and an emergency disaster shelter in case the area is ever hit by a tsunami again




Iboih beach
     Iboih is a coastal tourist area in Sabang, Indonesia. Together with Gapang, Iboih a favorite area for recreation and release fatigue. The waters around the island of Sabang is an open sea waters flanked by the Strait of Malacca and the Indian Ocean. Around the coast there are also Iboih resorts and restaurants for the tourists who stay overnight.



Cut Nya Dien House
     Cut Nyak Dien-shaped museum of traditional houses in Aceh (Aceh rumoh), is a replica of the heroine's house in Aceh, Cut Nyak Dien. At first, this house is home to a heroine Cut Nyak Dien. In Aceh War era, this house was burned by the Dutch army (1893) who later rebuilt in the early 1980s and converted into a museum. The foundation of this building are still original.
     Location of the museum is located next to West Street-Lhoknga Banda Aceh, in the countryside with a green rice field, precisely in the Village Lampisang, Lhok Nga, Aceh Besar District, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province, Indonesia.



Kerkoff Peucut
     Kerkoff Peucut is the grave of the Dutch soldiers who died in the Aceh War. This tomb complex is spread in many parts of Indonesia. One of them is located in the city of Banda Aceh, and is now an interesting tourist attraction, especially for foreign tourists (especially tourists from the Netherlands).
      As we know that the Kingdom of Aceh and its people are very persistent fight against the Dutch in Aceh. Affairs with the people of Aceh to maintain the property and lives. Resistance is quite long resulting in many casualties on both sides.
      Evidence of this history can be found in this Kerkhoff Dutch cemetery.       Kerkhoff grave Banda Aceh is the Dutch military cemetery located abroad Balanda the largest in the world. In Dutch history, the war in Aceh is the most bitter wars in excess of their bitter experience during the Napoleonic Wars.
